Main Roles and Responsibilities

    • Onshore Responsibilities:
      • Review offshore installation procedures and provide guidance / feedback to Engineering until procedures are approved for Construction
      • Participate to HAZID Workshops
      • Organise mobilization activities of the Pipelay Spread: contact Agent, harbor, shipyard, sea fastening subcontractor and plan / supervise mobilization activities
      • Liaise with Marine (Ship Management) for all vessel specific requirements and inspections
      • Report to Operations Manager


    • Offshore Responsibilities: (Night Shift)
      • Responsible for all onboard construction activities in accordance with approved procedures and ensuring all constructions activities are carried out in a safe manner
      • Single point of contact with Client’s Representative on board vessel
      • Planning and coordinating the work program with Client’s Representative on vessel and on Platforms
      • Planning and coordinating the work program with onboard subcontractors for Pipelay, Survey, construction crew and DP operations
      • Maximizing the vessel’s utilization with due regard to optimizing efficiency and safety of deck operations
      • To perform onboard Job Safety Analysis, in close collaboration with the Safety Officer, prior to start operations.
      • Ensure all JSA – RA, Task Plan are prepared and Permit to Work issued by Client’s Rep.
      • Plan & Manage applicable meetings
      • To address vessel information every day (General information, safety statisticss, activities performed)
      • Consolidate Lessons Learned issued end ensure information sharing to applicable parties.
      • Asses Vessel Offshore Activities Performance.


  • 10 Years Experience in Offshore Installation Procedures and Pipe-Lay activities on DP Vessel.
  • French & English Speaking Fluent - MANDATORY
