Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developing, documenting and testing of software for sampling systems and pilot plants.

  • Building, maintaining and updating the software library ensuring that software elements can be reused.

  • Leading teams of software engineers for large projects

  • Working together with various disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation and Process Engineering, sharing and transferring information to ensure that the technical design is conform the project specifications.


  • You’ve completed a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Industrial Automation, Control or Systems Engineering or similar.

  • Wide experience in the field of process automation in a project environment.

  • Familiarity with the following technology: Siemens S7 (300 en 400 series), Siemens TIA Portal, Wonderware Intouch scada systems, OPC Servers (Siemens, Kepware), databases (e.g.SQL Server), networks (e.g. Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet), standards such as ISA 88.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.

  • Proactive, team player, enterprising and analytical.

  • Demonstrate cost awareness, work in a structured and accurate way.

Flexible to travel to projects globally (short trips up to 15% of time).
