Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Welding inspector and CSR is in charge of:
    • Inspections:
      • Ensure that work is performed with required level of quality (compliance with specified requirements and industry standards)
      • Performs all inspections needed according to ITP and to routine work
      • Prepare daily flash report and weekly report
      • Manage all NCR's on site and relation with the project home office
      • Ensure that subcontractor is working with applicable documents for the order.
    • CSR
      • Monitor the progress, planning and shall report any deviation
      • Reporting of any technical issue
      • Prepare mitigation in case of planning slippage or minor deviations
      • Perform meetings with sub-contractor in order to check the correct execution of the scope of work
      • Answer to any request coming from project team


  • CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector or equivalent.

  • NDT skills in DPI, MPI, UT justified by valid or past qualification (minimum level II)  

  • 10 years’ experience, with significant exposure to fabrication yard

  • Able to work autonomously, good quality of reporting, able to make technical decisions when necessary and within defined range of responsibility.

  • Fluent in English is required. French & Portuguese appreciated
