Reports to the Project Manager and responsible for all organization, coordination, logistics and planning of the mobilization and operations in a fast track Offshore Wind Project
After a kick off in Marseille (1 week), the Ops Engineer will be based in Scotland and will organize with Agent, Port Authorities, Tug Owners, other local Subcontractors and Client, all quayside and Marine (Towing) Operations in 2 ports (Dundee & Aberdeen)
He will also be in charge of obtaining required permits and authorisations
He will travel to Marseille office on a regular basis (anticipated 1 week per month) where he will be responsible of ensuring the installation procedures are sound and safe, in collaboration with the installation Engineering Team.
It is also anticipated that the candidate will Ensure the role of OCM / Shift Superintendent during the offshore activities which will be split in 1 phase (approx 2 weeks around end of June) and 2 weeks around mid-July / August.
5 to 10 years experience of Subsea construction / Offshore Installation / Operations with a Contractor such as TECHNIP, SUBSEA 7, SAIPEM...
