Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • To conduct the personnel inductions to all marine support vessels, including 3rd. party & subcontractor's vessels
  • To conduct an oversight on all marine support units, including 3rd. party & subcontractor's vessels
  • To follow up and lead improvements to standard operating practises for the marine activities.

  • The Consultant for Marine Advisor will be accommodated onshore
  • He will join the Marine units in IDKU, Abu Qir or Maadyia on a daily basis, subject to activities.
  • He will conduct oversights on board the Towing Tugs, Supply Vessels to ensure adherence to standards Marine practices,
  • He will attend on board the Towing Tug during all berthing trials,
  • He shall attend on board DP2 Vessel AHT during CB berthing as necessary.
  • He shall assist and attend any HIRA level2, related to specific Marine operation.
  • He will attend to the crew boat surfer and ensure the surfer induction, the operating parameters of the surfer, the interface between receiving vessel and surfer, the communication between Surfer AB’s & passenger, PPE, etc.. are in place & Implemented
  • He shall ensure implementation of procedures, task plans as described in the Marine Operations manual, on all marine support units.
