Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Read all procedures and pass to all key personnel onboard informations regarding their scope of work (anchoring, deck, coating, diving…). Make sure that procedures will be applied, and that operation progress will be the best possible. Welding and survey procedures are managed directly by corresponding departments.

  • Perform / update calculations depending of immediate needs of operations, update in procedure and unplanned events.

  • Prepare operations for the following days and insure that all will be ready for that (procedure approved / available and understood, equipment ready for use, consumables and materials available onboard…) This task will start during barge mobilization for proper familiarization with the barge and efficiency during the operations.

  • DPR: Write up the Daily Progress Report (including event, HSE Statistics, Fuel and Water Consumption…) and pass it to project team / top management

Requirements

  • Engineer of MSC or BSC level with specialization in marine engineering, mechanical engineering of construction offshore.

  • Knowledge of the following codes and standards for offshore installation (API, DNV, ASME, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and management skills in english language.

  • Knowledge of Spanish will be a plus


    Experiences:

  • At least 3 year experiences as project or field engineer offshore construction including pipe welding activities in an international environment.
